INFORMATION & TRANSPARENCY
Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026. CNDP formalities are being prepared.
1. Data concerned
Jebrental processes professional users' account and contact information, subscription and billing data, and technical data required for operation and security.
Agencies may record their renters' data: identity, contact details, identity documents and driving licences, contracts, rentals and payments. Uploading documents is optional. No bank card number is stored.
2. Use of data
This information is used to provide the service, manage accounts and subscriptions, and support billing, assistance, operational alerts, security and evidence of electronic signatures. Information essential to providing the service is mandatory.
Depending on its purpose, processing is based on the contract, legal obligations, a legitimate security interest or consent where required.
3. Responsibilities and recipients
Youness JEBRANI, the publisher of Jebrental, is responsible for its professional users' data. Each agency remains responsible for its renters' records; Jebrental provides technical processing on its behalf.
Data is accessible to authorised users and the staff and service providers needed to deliver the service, within the scope of their duties. Competent authorities may receive data when legally required.
OVHcloud provides hosting in France; Backblaze stores documents and backups in the Netherlands. CNDP formalities remain to be finalised.
4. Retention
Our policy provides for retaining accounts during the subscription and for one year after closure. Trial accounts that are not converted are deleted one year after the trial ends. Necessary accounting records are retained for 10 years.
For records managed by agencies: renter profiles are retained for up to 3 years after the last rental; signed rental contracts, signature evidence, invoices and accounting supporting documents for 10 years from the end of the relevant financial year; photos and document copies for 30 days after the rental, unless a specific reason justifies longer retention. Client details contained in these documents are retained with them, without extending retention of the entire client profile. Professional contacts are retained during the relationship.
Security logs are limited to 60 days and delivered alerts to 30 days. Database backups are retained for 15 days and server backups for 7 days. Only evidence needed for a dispute or legal obligation may be retained separately until its applicable period ends. Statistics retained over the long term are anonymised.
5. Data protection
Jebrental implements technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, changes and disclosure.
